60s kitchen

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

i helped grandma move in to her new apartment today and i just can’t stop thinking about it - it’s so lovely! it’s got the most amazing 60s kitchen painted in blue, lovely windows and the sweetest walk-in closet.. feeling very jealous. i’ll have to photograph that kitchen to show you.. and i love the fact that you can paint the ktichen over and over again. mine would be blue one month, then pink, red, black..

såg mormors nya lägenhet idag, fyy vad avis jag är! finaste 60-talsköket med blåa luckor som går att måla om och om och om.. underbara fönsterkarmar, en walk-in-garderob, vacker utsikt.. måste fota köket och visa. åh!

bathroom

went to ikea today, it’s amazing how much concentration that place requires of you. totally tired now. bought some bathroom furniture that i’m trying to put together. ended up blogging.

söndag på ikea - koncentrationens mecka, iaf om man ska orientera sig på ta själv-lagret.

ikea-stickers

i’m sort of liking the unfancy kitchen.  no extravagant minimalism, just  quirky and personal, like the one above.

har börjat föredra lite personligare kök framför högblanka, stilrena..

william eggleston

mark rothko

i was not very impressed by the mark rothko-exhibition at tate modern some year ago (perhaps because i expected to be greeted by some kind of spiritual experience when coming in contact with his paintings?) but i still love them digitally. kind of weird, you would think that the 200×300 cm real deal is better…

i’ve been studiyng non-stop the last week. no fun. but that’s what you get from postponing things. just a few more weeks…

pluggandet innan studenten är ju mer än det sammanlagda gymnasiepluggandet.. men snart - sommar!

i like the word umbrella. it’s sweet, like it’s insecure about it’s own meaning: um.. brella!

fin interiör och paraplyställ.

ah-yi

i realize while writing yet another post about flowers that perhaps the graphic design/interior/fashion-parts of this blog is being put on the hold. this is just a coincidence, i think it has to do with me being outside all the time, getting sunstruck and developing into ferdinand. it’s just a fase.

that being said - how lovely is the flower above? i love the buds.. it’s by ah-yi, from her own garden.. check it out.

söt, söt, söt blomma!
