i found this painting at auktionsverket, it was resently sold for around 1000 kr (or in fact, i don’t remember at all - just something like that) and i love it! it’s so quirky and sweet.. and the colors are just lovely. too bad i didn’t see it earlier..
älskar den här tavlan! hittade den på auktionsverket.se, såld för någon blygsam tusenlapp.. känns lite tungt. på det där fåniga konsumtionsstinna viset.
the heat here in stockholm has chilled a bit and my brain just started running again. celebrating this amazing clarity with patterns and illustrations by jenny bowers. rediscovered via lobster and swan.
äälskar mönstrena och illustrationerna ovan av jenny bowers.. påminner mig lite om kenzoklänningarna jag bar som knatt.
i was not very impressed by the mark rothko-exhibition at tate modern some year ago (perhaps because i expected to be greeted by some kind of spiritual experience when coming in contact with his paintings?) but i still love them digitally. kind of weird, you would think that the 200×300 cm real deal is better…
radiating beams of color, pushing through the computer screen (exactly what i need, i’m feeling so slow today!) by maya hayuk. found via favorite ungt blod.
klara, levande färger.. av maya hayuk. hittat via ungt blod.
i’m lying in the sofa, eating ballerinacookies (it’s the name of the product, they most certainly do not turn you into a ballerina) while reading a little. ernst billgrens book “vad är konst?” to be more specific. it’s wonderful so far. what an amazingly interesting person..
i think i’ll sleep a little before going to the graduation dinner..
ligger i soffan, äter ballerinakakor och läser ernst billgrens fantastiska bok “vad är konst?”. läs den! gillar upplägget.
the easter-holidays start today in my school and then there is just about two months left until i graduate! i feel very happy and inspired right now :)
what did you think? i thought it was kind of long in the beginning. it did catch up after a while though, and the plot actually became intriguing in the middle.. and the end was unexpected! :)
