I want people to know that almost everything that concerns them in their daily lives is of no consequence whatsoever. Nothing and nobody is really important, so people, realising that, should get on with their lives, go mad, take their clothes off, jump in the canal, jump into one of those supermarket trolleys, race ‘round the supermarket and steal Mars bars and, y’know, kiss kittens and sit on the back of bread vans. Whatever makes people happy they should just do it, ‘cos time is a mere scratch and life is nothing.

I want to go to a cotton field, it is a dream land, and to take a photoshoot in one would be absolutely breath taking. I love your blog. xx
Love. Every. Letter.
So true.
I really love the first photograph! so dreamy and tranquil.
I love quotes like this, encouraging people to just live their lives as they want and do what makes them happy (though, there does have to be some level of reason, otherwise we’d be living in a state of pure anarchy). Life is too short to worry, this is something that I should really try to remind myself of more often… :-/
Lovely accompanying pictures.

Cute post. Some what melancholic but still fun.
I originally was going to comment on the subtle and beautiful composition of the sink, but I just read the Morrissey quote and it really made me pause and think about life. I’ve spent the last 48 hours basically re-organizing my college major and summer classes, looking at money and making lots of cost analysis graphs of different options. I feel like I’ve been running in a hampster wheel! I think all this headache-worthy business will get me to a great place with Art (I’m trying to figure out the art major), but your quote reminded me why I love art in the first place.
anyway, just wanted to say thanks. I think I’m going to make a big poster of it or something. I’m the type of girl that needs a reminder :)

naw, thank you for sharing. i also the type that needs reminding. good luck with the poster :)
Amen!
How is that depressing and inspiring at the same time?
I love that quote! and I needed it right now, as I’m struggling with some work issues that feels really important right now, but probably isn’t when all comes to the end.
