photos by i.anton and salihagir
somewhere in between winter and spring. long days. i’m mostly inspired by different lights right now. coffee. longing. the idea of waiting for something makes it more exciting, as warhol put it..
i also have a question for you:
is there any theathre or directing students out there, reading this blog?

daniel egnéus is so inspiring! his illustrations and painting makes me want to create, they give me ideas, thoughts. i love the colors, the composition and of course - the bubbly, playful brush strokes, vibrating with creativity. and his work is so versatile, i never know what to expect. check out his blog or website as well!

inspiring photos. that’s all this post is about..
currently working on a fun project though.. to quote audrey:
“are you bored with life? then throw yourself into some work you believe in with all your heart, live for it, die for it, and you will find happiness that you had thought could never be yours.”

i think a little holden exists in each one of us. a lost individual, trying to find something, searching for truth, wanting to believe but realising that most things aren’t what they seem, wanting to be alone but feeling lonely, understanding things one day and then understanding that you don’t know anything the next.. i also like how the novel is written like a monologue, it really feels more like a person than a book..
i love this book.
have you read it?
what did you think?

i don’t know why i put these together. perhaps it’s the serenity in them - like time is standing still. it’s pretty much the opposite of my life right now, perhaps that’s why i long for it so much?
wendy bevan is love

french design firm my beautiful have created the loveliest font i have seen in quite some time, hand made letters photographed on a white bakground, making them appear 3d. i think both the idea and the result is amazing.. found via oh joy!

i really wish i knew where i found these, they’ve been lying in my folders for ages.. love the raw city-feeling in them, they feel like snapshots - the unpretentious, tourist-like ones you took while crossing the street or looking up at the sky and they just happened to turn out lovely. lucky snapshots.

nothing makes me long for spring like these photos by abbytryagain.. right now however, i’m to tired to be thinking an hour ahead.. i can however think this: wallpaper, wallpaper, wallpaper. for your computer, that is.

arranging objects, making them form different words and then photographing the result. it’s a simple idea - and i love it! by we make words.
